The Commercial Crew Program (CCP) invests in the development of a U.S. The directorate provides strategic dissemination of information about NASA's and KSC's goals and accomplishments to worldwide audiences. The directorate also oversees the History Program activities at the center. The directorate facilitates these interfaces through various strategic communications vehicles, including Speakers Bureau, official tours, launch campaigns and major program milestones, major events and celebrations, the Internet, grants, Space Act Agreements, and management of the KSC Visitor Complex concession agreement. The directorate is responsible for KSC's primary interfaces and strategic messaging with external audiences including academic institutions (academic and students) on-site guests, dignitaries, and other agency guests legislative, business, and community leaders offsite speaking engagements the KSC Visitor Complex and the general public (as applicable, via the tools managed within the directorate.) These activities align with NASA's Strategic Plan, the governance model for Headquarters' Offices of Education and Communications governance model. Education and External Relations Directorate (EX) The Chief Counsel’s Office provides proactive and preventive legal/business advice and services to customers on all areas of law and policy which affect KSC operations/interests and the implementation of the NASA Strategic Plan. The Human Resources Office is a proactive organization that champions diversity and is innovative in providing consistent, high quality human capital management solutions to KSC employees and the general public.
